The Co-op Kitchen is making some changes to our self-serve Hot, Salad, and Breakfast bars! These changes are being made to better keep our shoppers and staff safe from the spread of COVID-19, while still ensuring that everyone has access to the fantastic food our amazing Kitchen Staff make! Read on to learn what’s changed, and what will remain the same.
HOT BAR
For now, the Co-op will not be offering hot, self-serve food. We will still be preparing many of your favorite hot-bar options but they will be pre-packed and sold in our Grab and Go case. We will be adjusting our menu a bit to fit with our deliveries, so please be patient.
SALAD BAR
We still want our customers to be able to build their own salads, but we are making some changes to keep you safe. Our salad bar ingredients will be sold in pre-packaged containers—you can pick up all the ingredients you want from the salad bar—then you can take them with you to mix yourself. Items are still sold by the pound—our cashiers know to remove the weight of the containers these salad ingredients are in, don’t worry! Please do not mix the salad ingredients at our salad bar. Instead take them with you to mix at your dining location.
HOT SOUP
The Co-op Kitchen will still be providing you fresh, hot soup at the same great price! However, our methods have changed. Soup will be kept hot in the Kitchen. Please ask a Co-op Kitchen Staffer to get you a bowl of soup. They will prepare it for you.
BREAKFAST AT THE CO-OP
For the time being, the Co-op will still be making breakfast burritos! However, we will not have the self-serve yogurt/parfait bar.
Thank you so much for your understanding during these unusual times. The Co-op’s first priority is to the safety of our customers, staff, and vendors. We want to provide you with all the things you need to stay happy and healthy while keeping the highest standards of food safety. If you have any questions or concerns, please ask!
